Use APIs
Embed CoRE stack datasets and capabilities in your apps
Dataset APIs
The CoRE Stack provides a rich set of pre-computed analytics like rainfall, fortnightly runoff, drought incidence, land-use changes, tree cover changes, etc. Most of these analytics are available at a micro-watershed scale for all micro-watersheds in a particular Tehsil.

Here is what you need to do to access these analytics and include them in your own apps and bots.
- Register on https://dashboard.core-stack.org/
- Login and generate API keys
- Refer to these Python Notebooks on how to invoke the APIs
- Water Balance Analysis: Open Notebook
- Cropping Intensity Analysis: Open Notebook
- Overall API documentation
For more details on what these datasets are, refer to the CoRE stack STAC catalog [coming up soon] or browse the Know Your Landscape dashboard and consult the methodologies used.
Community APIs
The CoRE stack is a community-based digital public infrastructure, i.e. meant to service felt needs of community members. If you are an organization working with rural communities, you can instantiate a CoRE stack community, add members to it, and empower members to raise demands for natural resource management and livelihood assets, report grievances, share stories about their landscape, and check the status of these reported requests and stories. This functionality can be accessed by communities through the CoRE stack whatsapp number [to be announced soon] and by the community administrator through the Commons Connect application. But APIs are available for you to also include this functionality in your own apps.

To begin to use these APIs, you need to:
- Register on https://dashboard.core-stack.org/
- Login and generate API keys
- Refer to these Python Notebooks [coming soon] for examples on how to invoke the APIs
